That strut bar is pretty neat looking, is it steel? Or aluminum? Seems like it would be pretty heavy if it was all steel.

I believe it's chromoly. It's not super light like aluminum but I was surprised at how light it was when I took it off the car. It's not too bad.

Yeah I think they'll be fine. The scat I beams are rated at 800hp and I've seen people take these pistons way past 800.

Great build and attention to detail. I want that garage

I hope that radiator works. I run a 27.5x19" Howe radiator with a Ford Taurus 4,000cfm single fan. Zero cooling issues even pounding on it on the road course in 100*+ weather.

I have it tilted forward and run the intake straight over it.

Hey thanks man that's good to know. Very nice rx7 by the way!

And alright I have a question for you guys. I have these FAST injectors and there this plastic circle piece in the end of the injectors that seems to be keeping them from seating right in the intake. Are these supposed to be taken off? I tried tugging in it a little and they're on there pretty good. But I didn't want to pull to hard and risk damaging something.

Ok so it's not catching on the plastic piece at the tip but the sides of the actual injector body. The catch on the injector bosses in the fast intake and are preventing the injectors from seating properly. And ideas on this guys? You would think since fast makes the intake, injectors, and fuel rail I should have no problem getting all this to work together.

I have a set of siemens injectors I don't have installed I can look at. That plastic cap does look off, but I can't be sure either way. I'll be at my shop later tonight. I'll take a picture then.

Wow ok I feel a little stupid... I went through the box my intake manifold came in last night and it came with a set of thicker lower injector o-rings for the ls1 style injectors. Everything fits together just fine now. Sorry for the hassle guys. I'll try and get a bunch of update photos up tonight.

Nice build! Have you decided on which route your going with the hydraulics for the t56? Also wanted to know any prep needed to fit the t56 in the trans tunnel?

^^^The common way of fitting the T56 is to hammer in some of the trans tunnel. I am sure there is a google image or 2 floating around of the exact area.

you also cut some of the ears off the trans itself.
