body work is going slower than expected but still making progress. Got about 50% of it done. Still have to finish up the drivers rear quarter and work the new (used) door i picked up. It has a few small dings in it but nothing too bad.

No real progress lately, sanded the door jamb and got it ready for paint. Hope to spend all day Saturday working on the car. I will post up more pics then.

Got some more body work in on Saturday. Finished welding up the drivers rear quarter panel and started to bondo it. Drivers door almost done with bondo, passenger door jamb sprayed with epoxy primer and started bondo on it. Trunk lid bondo done. We still need about 1 full day of body work to have it ready for color. More body work this week.

Block sanded the whole car last night, finished around 9. The car is really close, only about 7-8 small dings that we will need to fill with puddy but other than that it is straight. More updates and pictures later this week.

Sealer primer is on. A few scratches need puddy but other than that it's ready for a wet sand and paint. Should be painted by next weekend. Going with omni paint and clear.

Just ordered my hooker trans crossmember from Steve at SCRAM SPEED, he's a sponsor on here and gave me a great price. Thanks Steve. Hoping to get the car back home this weekend.

It's home and engine and tranny are in. Hooker mounts lined up perfectly. Still waiting on the cross member to show up. Can't believe how easy the power train dropped in. Thanks holley/hooker. I would recommend these to anyone doing this swap.

thanks skyrockbike, lots of bodywork info which some might not think useful but whatever. Now that the powertrain is in it will be lots of good conversion info. The list of parts I still need is crazy. Wiring harness, F body alternator, exhaust, misc gaskets, still need to build my rear end, fuel system and tuning. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ stay tuned!

installed a p/s pulley from a 2004 pontiac montana 3.4l on to my f body pump. Functions good and has good clearance from the upper control arm.

installing some new temp insulation on the floor board of the car and then install the carpet. Got the exhaust manifolds bolted up and torque converter bolts installed also. Still looking for a good deal on a F body alternator.
