Hey M6, I noticed that you are using a set of the Hooker engine mounting brackets to mount your engine and want to check with you to be sure you understand that they need to be used with the Hooker 4L60-4L75 crossmember to maintain correct engine and transmission alignment in your subframe. Your other option is to fabricate your own crossmember or modify another brand of aftermarket crossmember to center the transmission output shaft in your subframe the way the Hooker crossmember does.

yes sir I knew that but thanks for checking anyways! Right now I'm just trying to find a trans but as soon as I do the next thing on the list is the hooker crossmember.

No problem, I've already had to break the bad news to a guy on another site who chose to ignore the multiple warnings in the instructions about compatibility of the Hooker parts with other components, so I thought I'd make sure you were steering clear of the issue.

Yes you can, but you have to modify the rear fan housing on the alternator to provided the needed clearance around the driver side engine bracket (see photo).

I'm researching fuel systems trying to get mine lined out so I can start buying parts. I know that I need to run the corvette filter/regulator but, what should I do about a tank/fuel cell and pump? I would prefer to run an in tank pump if possible. thanks for any input

made some more progress today. Windshield and back glass out. Doors off. Saturday we're spraying the door jambs and front and back glass areas. After this the cars coming home to get the engine and tranny stabbed. Also got the gas tank out to start fabbing in the VetteWorks kit.

That TA look bad *** MAC. Thanks for the pics. Still working on the patch panels and rebuilding the door hinges today. should have the hinges done today and hopefully get the doors prepped for paint. I think we will spray the inside of the doors and hinges sometime this week so that by Saturday we can hang em and get the rest of the body work done on the shell. If all goes well (usually doesn't) the cab will be painted this weekend.
