will my 5.3 TB work with this LS1 intake? It bolts up to it fine but when looking at a LS1 TB, it has a tube coming off of it that mine doesn't have.

also, with the cam only setup that im running, will stock LS1 injectors and rails do the job? Is it cheaper to get a used set of factory stuff or buy aftermarket? Thanks guys

It surprised me how easy it was to paint with it, I just spray bombed it on real thick, starting horizontal, then vertical, then at an angle. Its not like regular paint, seems like the thicker you spray it on the better it does. Wish they had more than red and black.

I picked up a power steering setup from a GTO and am wondering how it bolts up? I now the black bracket holds the reservoir but not sure where the aluminum plate goes, I know the pump bolts to it but not sure which bolt holes in the front of the head are for that plate?

Opened up an early Christmas present this morning and what did I find? A set of holley efi fuel rails! Wife did a good job picking them out, it helps that I bookmarked the pages for her!

Hey I might need to get with your brother-in-law too I have a 79 Firebird that I'm dropping a LS1 5.3l in, but right now it's in storage because I'm overseas in South Korea I will return around June and might need his help. I'm down in the Killeen area, looking forward to getting my bird on the road.

Here's a couple of updates on the build. Got some hooker motor mounts and some sensor adapters for christmas. Also picked up a LS1 throttle body and steam lines off craigslist. Hopefully i cant stab the engine into the car soon now that i have the motor mounts.

Id sell you mine if you dont mind it having 106k miles on it and it has been rebuilt 3 times. And the 3600 stall will come with it.

I picked up a set of injectors from a 2001 vette yesterday for $50 so that's out of the way, im still looking for a transmission so I can stab the 2 together into the car. I was wondering about a MAF, could I use 1 from a vette also? Im also trading pcm's with a fellow member on here so I will have a f body pcm to work with my ls1 harness whenever I get 1.
