1993 Porsche 911 lsx g5052 build

I have never priced his stuff, so I don't know how much it is. the renegade system is 1100. or something like that. but it does not fit the 964 chassis. you can make it work but it wont just bolt in. the 964 is unique in the nose.

His prices from his website are listed. My car is shown with it installed : Having posted that and shown that I really like his design and I really like Renegade Hybrids. Steve is awesome at Renegade and so is Clemmon at Toy-Jet. Renegade has a well packaged setup. Their radiator setup works and they cover probably 99% of the 911 conversions and their radiator setup entails cutting the front of the car up a bit where the Toy-Jet design does not require any cutting. The radiator is in the rear so you are not going to get hot in the cab when driving. I have heard that there is quite a bit of heat from the front radiator design in the driver's compartment but I have not experienced that and Mike probably has a great way to vent out the heat. I have finally tuned my car so I am hoping in the summer of 2014 I will really get a chance to see how well the rear radiator design works... Also, Toy-Jets wing will need some good sanding when you get it and prep work before paint!

good info yan. thank you. I have not had excessive heat in the cabin from renegades or my cooling systems. maybe some others have. with the heat being ducted outside the car in the renegade kit or my kit it hasn't been an issue. in the first 2 cars I built I soley used renegade parts. so I do know their product. they sell nice stuff. yes you do cut the nose with a renegade kit or my cooling kit. the cut is minimal, but is a cut nonetheless. I imagine for someone doing this conversion a non structural cut in the nose isn't that big of an issue. I don't know of anyone who did the conversion or drove a 911 with lsx power that would ever want to convert it back to Porsche power. these things are like go carts on steroids... superbike on four wheels kinda fast...

Can you show some pix of the cuts etc that need to be made for the rad in front? How big a rad do you use? What hose sizes? I just ordered my ls3 e-rod! Cant wait!
Thanks!

I have been looking at the renegade site and the "wall of shame" - your set up looks pretty straight forward, I am not sure i understqnd why so many did such poor jobs? Am I missing something?

ok... the lsx 427 is going in the car. and trans is getting beefed up quite a bit as well. double disk Kevlar clutch will be used. all trans internals are getting cryoed and rem coated. hey its only money right? lol.

Hi cobalt, i now have my e-rod in the garage and I am still looking at options. Can you tell me the price of your cooling kit and what it includes? Also, my e rod requires vss of 17 pulses per revolution - any suggestions? I am using my stock 91 964 g50.
Thanks

Mike,
I have a question from the p-car world. Showing ignorance of the ls3. When you flip the intake around and the valve covers does't that mess up the firing order and why does this not matter?
