thanks bob, I still have to clean up the epoxy corners and polish the aluminum out, but that's the raw box, turned out pretty good. this is the cheaper of my two heaters. this one is 495. the upper end heater has a tig welded box and uses an fittings instead of hose barbs but its also twice the price 995.

So what part of Oklahoma do you live in? My girlfriend is moving to Dallas shortly and I'll get to spend more time up that way compared to south of Austin where I live now. I'd love to see what you have going on and take some photos of your projects to post up. I think everyone would like that and I would love some details about the swap. I badly want a LS 911 with 930 or bigger body kit. Light with lots of tire on the ground and a nice adjustable suspension.

Hey Mike? I love your build. I have a 91 964 (will start my own thread shortly) and I ordered the adapter plate etc from Renegade yesterday. I just removed the supercharged motor. I used to race the car in PCA GT class (before kids) and it is very well sorted. In Toronto where I live the rules are much like California so I am buying a new E-Rod engine package. I have the RSR/Turbo clutch in it already so I will see if that works. I also have a big GT wing on the back (for the intercooler) which I may keep. I had been thinking of putting the rad in there but Renegade (Steve) was really against it.

All that said I have just started though this thread and would appreciate any help you can give me. You should do a web site! Any things to really watch out for?

edart welcome to the madness, lol. honestly I love the 964 chassis. steve is correct, while it is not impossible to make the cooling system work in the tail, it is however a lot more difficult to get it right. if you go that route you might talk to yan or toyjet as they are better versed on that issue. I have built several 911 lsx cars now and have had NO cooling issues with the front mounted cooling system. my only suggestion is if you intend to race the car, vent the radiator out the top of the hood for anti lift issues at speed. happy motoring.

Sorry I pressed submit too soon. Can you post some more pics of the front radiator set up?
