Default L33 DBW Help. Which pedal?

I have a 2006 L33 in my Nova. I realize there is no 'master list' that shows which DBW pedals/etc work for each ECU/year etc. Searching didn't do anything but give me a headache.

I had a truck pedal, but its too long and will have to be cut/welded shorter. I also have no idea if this pedal is even going to work with my L33.

I have a 12602802 ECU. Someone mentioned a corvette pedal that is very cheap on ebay, but the only info I can find on it says that it works with the E38 ECUs, which mine is not. Are there any car pedals at a decent price which will work with my ECU or should I just look for a matching truck pedal and modify it (I'll still need help locating a proper truck pedal).

Thanks.

Since the motor and ecu probably came off an 06 Silverado 1500, 5.3. You're always best using a pedal and TAC from the original vehicle. Do you have the TAC? Check Rock Auto, they usually have pretty good prices.

No I didn't get that stuff. I bought the engine/harness/ecu from a yard about 50 miles away (closest L33 with less than 100k).

I noticed that a wide range of vehicles used that ECU. I also know that several different ecu/years have interchangeable pedals, I just don't know which ones I can get for my car. I could probably get a truck pedal, but I'm going to be hard pressed to find one that I KNOW will work with my ECU. Something tells me ordering one for that exact vehicle and be expensive, and ordering one out of another vehicle for that same year won't guarantee it'll work.

Has nobody done any cross referencing? I see vette pedals all of the time on ebay for $50.

A lot of 06 stuff is one year only since 07 went to Gen IV.
That ecu was only used in 05-06 truck.
06 Silverado 1500, 5.3 pedal is under $50 at Rock Auto, looks like 1 year only.
You'll need a matching TAC no matter what.

You wouldn't happen to know which TAC I would need, do you?
It also appears the accelerator pedal for these years was plastic. They won't fit in the car, the hit the floor.

And I know it probably doesn't make a difference, but the engine was out of an 06 Sierra.

This TAC crossreferences to 06 Sierra/Silverado.
ACDELCO Part # 12590008 only one listed.

Bumping this back up.

Is it 100% necessary I use the 12590008 TAC, or can I have the ECU reflashed (or do it myself with my HP Tuners) to use another TAC/Pedal. I'm having a rough time finding matching TAC and pedal for an 06.

Not sure.

But just so you know the factory Silverado pedal is mounted on a metal bracket that stands it off the floor.

There was a guy on here about a month ago who claimed he could reprogram. Never saw anything come from his post, but you might search and contact him.

Why dont you run a cable driven TB and ditch the whole dbw set up? Very common
