Nothing really noteworthy anyway! haha
I dropped the heads off a few days ago to the cleaned up and valvesprings installed.
Got a complete fuel system (minus injectors) for Christmas. Slowly acquiring parts. Its struggling to stay above 0 degree temps where I live so im not super motivated to go out to the non-heated garage! Also, two feet of snow on the ground puts a hamper on my life lol
That being said, my birthday is in a week and the misses always hooks me up with car parts. And tax time is right around the corner to that'll help too! Just need some warmer weather!

Ordered an AJE trans crossmember for the TH400, a battery relocation kit and some welding wire. Now I can start fabbing up my hotsite.
Tax time will get me a converter, injectors and a harness!

For the time being I am going to run the stock 8.8 rear gear (which I believe is like a 2.9x). But once the car is running smoothly I will upgrade, probably to a 3.23.
3.55 would be my absolute max for being a turbo auto car tho

Nice car, looks exactly like the one I just picked up. I got a turbo t top that I swapped a few years back with a Upr 5.0 k member, just built mounts. Its got a tc78 bone stock 5.3l other than btr valve springs and ls6 cam. On 10 lbs it put down 544 and 580. Took it to the track and trapped 129.5 all night. It was on skis so I only ran 11.30s. With the 400 look at a 3.27 gear, with of u can get away with steeper. I was at 6200 on the big end. So def stay down

Hurry up IRS and give me my money!!!
That being said, waiting to pull the trigger on a harness, injectors, and some smaller random parts. The guy that was cleaning up my heads and installing my valve springs still has them! Its been over a month. SHOULD have them this weekend then I can put the engine together and toss it in the car and hopefully start fabbing up the hotside!

Update:
Ordered a BP Automotive harness. Bill is the man!
Also got my turbo oil line kit, and some couplers.
Spent about 14 straight hours in the garage yesterday putting the engine back together, cleaning and painting parts, installing my turbo drain bung, and putting the engine back in the car. Next up is to start fabbing up the hotside.
A few pics
Turbo drain location. It was a close fit. I have less than a centimeter of room until the AN fitting till hit the balancer :/
In the bay. SOOO DARK!

Decent little update. Finally got a decent break in the weather here in western Nebraska and had a 60 degree weekend. Took advantage of it and fabbed up my hotside. Damn near took me longer to make a bracket for the mergepipe/flange so I could use it for mockup.
Don't look close at the welds. They aren't purty..just functional
High-Temp Primed and painted it. Looks a little less shitty
TIGHT SPACES!!!! Kinda of thinking about getting a smaller framed turbo. Is the On3 76mm or 7875 (or whatever) smaller framed than the GT45?
Looks alright. Awfully close to that alternator.
Nice view of the new radiator. Im going to notch out the support a little to tuck that radiator in a little better.

Thanks! I found a picture comparing the GT45 to a On3 76mm and yes the GT45 turbine side is probably 1.5x as large. That's good news for me being that the turbine on the GT45 is what is causing me issues with clearances
