Thanks, last stupid question. I did some measuring this weekend (suitcase is currently out of my Cutlass) and just by eyeball with the 1" setbacks currently in there that there is NO WAY the suitcase will fit without some aggressive ginsu chopping...lol. I currently have a LS6 CTSV pan on her and it has twin drains for...twins. My question is, will the Hooker plates accommodate the CTSV pan (please say yes)?

Hello Dave, I have not checked the fitment of the CTSV pan with the Hooker mounts, but I doubt it will be compatible due to its front end height alone. The 302-2 Holley pan was used in this application to obtain optimized U-joint angles and its height along the front end is 1.25". You might be able to use a pan 1/8" to 3/16" taller than that, be it will be a very tight squeeze.
Thanks!

You'll typically experience interference with the centerlink/tie rod ends before the crossmember on a G-body. I was just looking back through my development photos and there's more room under the front of the pan than I remembered, so you might be able to use that CTSV pan...I just can't say for sure as I did not test fit it.

First run of headers now available
For those who have been following this thread, I can report that there are a limited number of the Hooker G-body 1-7/8" silver ceramic coated long-tube headers on the shelf as of this morning. The other versions will be hitting the shelf one after another over the next few weeks. I'm expecting the crossmembers to arrive in our facility any day now.

The painted steel versions of the 1-7/8" G-body long-tubes (2333HKR) are on the shelf as of this morning, which will be helpful to those performing this swap on a tight budget or those wanting to get their headers ceramic coated at a place of their choosing.

Any answer other than "yes" is unacceptable...hahaha

We don't offer bundled kits ourselves as the number of possible parts combinations you can put together is seemingly endless. You will more than likely see our resellers (Summit, Jeg's and many others) offering package deals of these products just as they have with our other LS swap parts that have come out over the last two years. Once we send out the press release to our dealers that gives them the info they need to load all the SKU's into their system then you'll be able to call them up and make the same request to many of them and they'll should be happy to accommodate you.

The new driveshaft was installed this morning and the Holley Monte Carlo is now alive and ready to be driven. All the guy's involved with this project are taking bets as to how long it's going to take to smoke the transmission with the level of flogging that we're going to subject this vehicle to...however long it lasts, it should be fun. If there is anything in particular you guys want to know about the build just ask and I'll be happy to provide you with the info. Here's the last shot of the car before the hood goes on in the morning and we line up to beat the snot out of it on the test strip behind our facility.

Hmm, I'm sensing a challenge here...what if I could get the CEO of Holley to light the tires up personally? I don't know how far I'll get with the request, but I'll run it up the chain of command tomorrow and see where it goes. Either way, we'll be shooting and sharing various video clips and photographs for those interested in viewing them.
