Hi Toddoky, Do you have any pics of your MCSS showing header clearance to the area where the factory linkage needs to be? I would prefer to use the factory key interlock, neutral safety and reverse switch with the factory lightning rod shifters. Don't know how this was missed....I already bought Hooker headers and don't want to hack things up if I can avoid it.

I'll look through my photos tomorrow and see what I have... We never attempted to hook up the stock linkage on our Monte, so I unfortunately can't give you any input on what it's going to take to hook it all up.

Default Fitment

Will any of these parts (motor mounts, headers, accessories pulleys, ext.) fit the new generation GM engines such as the LT1, L83 and L86?

No, the new GM engines will require completely different components.

Are any of these components in the making? Or even considered to be created in the near future?
I've already bought every item build from holley/hooker needed for the ls swap, but unfortunately i am now leaning towards getting an L83 instead of a LY6

You won't see anything of that nature that is G-body related coming from Hooker in 2016...beyond that, I can't say.

I just purchased a set of the engine mounts and a 302-2 pan. I am looking to do a turbo setup. I'd like to have forward and down facing manifolds. I was thinking I can maybe modify factory ones, but I am not sure. I seen holley also offers 8501HKR. Will these face forward and down in a gbody chassis with truck acc?

Hello Brian. The Hooker manifolds were not test fit in a forward facing orientation on our development vehicle, so I can't say if they would work with that set-up or not.

The welding specification calls for MIG welding, so if you received a set that was TIG welded there was a bored welding operator working that day that decided to get some TIG bench time in. Can you post a pic?

The photo isn't clear enough for me to be able to identify the weld process. I've never seen a set yet that was TIG welded, so that would be a surprise to me.

I have a set of mounts #12643HKR but I haven't opened the box yet (waiting for engine delivery today), I'll post up a photo of the weld joints.

I'd really like to see that if you can get a clear close-up image of both.
