Default corvette filter

So which way is it everything i look at shows different. Is the 5/16 the inlet from pump and the 3/8 is the return to the tank? That is how my microguard 33737 filter is marked also.

Hard Line = Inlet
Rubber Line = Return
Steel braided = outlet
Got about 400 miles on it so far.

I am looking at the filter in question right now in my hand. Mine is not marked, But 67skylark is correct with the mounting locations(inlets and outlet). If yours does not have the 5/16 center return and 3/8 side feed with a 3/8 center outlet, you may have the wrong filter in the box. Which case may not be the 55psi regulator that you need.

Here is what I got it looks the same I tried blow gun in the 5/16 port and it will not do anything with 160psi going to it but the 3/8 flows straight threw

Since yours is new like the one I have, but without the markings. try this. You can blow thought the inlet easily. You can not blow through the return. This filter allows pressure to build all the way to the injectors first and then the excess is bled off through the return to the tank.

I will try blocking off the feed to the injectors tomorrow. I'm not sure why it's labeled anyways cause a factory corvette has different sized lines so u should not be able to cross them anyways.

I think that sticker should be on the other side of the filter. The 3/8 is the feed line in, and the 5/16 is the return. The female end is the feed line to the rail.

I didn't thank u would have more feed out than in but even if the sticker was upside down the arrow for flow like most filters would have been backwards

The return line on this filter is also the pressure regulator, just like lsxranger said. You will not get anything through it until it exceeds the pressure it it rated to. I think that rating is 50 psi, I might be lieing though.

The sticker isn't upside down, just on the wrong side. In your picture, if the sticker was in the same direction, just on the other side (where you couldn't see it, next to your hand in the pic) it would be labeled correctly.

The pressure rating is 58psi.
