ls1 rx7 conversion questions..

1) do i keep the stock rx7 harness? or can i sell it?

2) do i need any stock parts from the rx7?

3) for the th400, ive read a lot about the conversion with an fbody, if i use the 9"tail shaft th400 will i have any mounting problems? an f body doesnt have any problems...

quick question for people here... im about to order my automatic for the conversion, which one is best for this? i was thinking the th400 with 9" tail shaft, supposedlly no new driveshaft is needed from what i read about the people doing the t56-th400 conversion, would this be true for the rx7 as well?

does anyone have a better idea of a trans that will handle 550-650rwhp?

No way you must get a new DS with the LS1 Rx7 conversion!!!

no i know that, im talking about the hsc driveshaft for an ls1 rx7 with the t56. will that driveshaft also fit a th400?

It may but you can just give brian the length from the housing to the rear flange and he can have one custom made for it. Or you can use any other driveshaft shop.

how much a custom driveshaft run? i know i can go high end if i like, strange is right by me, but id be looking a bit cheaper due to me needing another one after the conversion is done.
