'65 C10 SWB Build
word, rag joint is replaced with a speedway coupler. i dunno. i think its the solid control arms shafts…might try the bushed 73+ style first.
the CV front end is def not a bolt-on thats for sure
the one I saw had a narrowed cradle, a mustang II rack and shocks relocated
lots of work. but having come this far and not getting what I wanted
watching your build for results. maybe the bags will help the geometry's shortcomings.
look like your moving right along. props.

Now that the semester is over, I should have a lot more time to get this thing done.
Circle D 3k stall for the 4l80e is on it's way
Started the steering wheel restoration today
Fitted the '72 steering guts in the '65 column

I've been working on the brakes all weekend, adapting the 88-98 1500 stuff to my truck.
Essentially used a secondary bellcrank behind the brake pedal which actually attaches to the booster pushrod.

Thanks. It's another brake pedal, with the pedal cut off. The 88-98 booster rods are non removable and have an eyelit. I could have cut it and threaded it, but I wanted it to be easy in case I ever replace it.
Don't mind that other mount I tacked on there. It was a different idea which worked, this is just simpler.

No, I doubt I will. Once I finish the truck it will probably get an s475/480 and E85.
I knew building it that it would be difficult to sell when the time came. It's going to take a Volvo enthusiast as it's not a desirable platform.
But it gets more attention than any of my classic builds ever did. Including my 1931 Model A.

Building a compartment behind the ashtray door for my air valves and gauge. Good use of otherwise wasted space, and it should look 100% factory when the door is closed.
Having a hard time finding a compact 90 degree hinge that will work.
