Default small question about springs and retainers

Hello ,

i have this question i didn't find any good answer about it so any help will be appreciated

so i bought this ls6 cam with springs and push rods, problem is the gay didn't send me the retainers and keepers , so can i use the ls1's ??

With an ls6 cam don't think you'll be spinning the motor to 7k so youll be ok, if you plan on turning some rpm's I would consider lightening up the valve train with some better keepers and retainers

yup , i will be fine jest with 6.200 or 6.300 ,

The LS1 retainers and locks will work just fine.

I have replaced my stock LS1 springs and cam with LS6 springs using the stock LS1 keepers and retainers. Suggest you check for push rod length if using a stock LS6 cam. I ended up using 7.425 (stock LS1 is 7.40).

No problems.

i've bought the ls6 push rods with the cam , i will be using them with the ls7 lifters and ls1 stock rockers but i will be checking the length i guess
