I haven't really pushed it yet. It has plenty of get up and go. I had to take some of the firmness out of the 1st to 2nd shift as it was too harsh. It tracks well after a decent alignment. Seems to handle pretty well. It's a bit touchy on the steering given the quick ration gear box, but not too much. I still have a little rubbing on the inner fender on the passenger side. When I need new tires, I'll probably go from a 40 series to a 35 series. Should fix that as well as bring the front down a touch. I still need to test and adjust the proportioning valve for brakes...I think I have too much rear at the moment. I also need to dial in the coilovers.

Thank you. I still have a few items left on the punch list. I think I figured out the hard 1-2 shift when warm with the Sonnax pinless accumulator. Still chasing down one electrical gremlin

Nicely done and well-deserved results with the wins!
Forgot to ask, if you don't mind. What is the name of the color used? It is STUNNING! To me anyway....

Admiral blue. It's a late model Corvette and Camaro color. The difference is that it is sprayed over a black base rather than a light base, so it is darker.

Good days and bad days...rear to the end to hear about the bad.

2nd show - another win. Roughly 200 cars (all different styles/eras/genres) and we took the top honors for Best Classic. After they called Best Chevy and my name wasn't called, I assumed I was out. Great surprise:

Also saw a '67 that is very similar to mine in a parking lot the day before the show. Really nice guy:

Unfortunately, the day of the show ended up not being great. As I was headed back, at a stop light I heard someone hollering. I assumed they were gonna give me a thumbs up or a "nice car". Instead they yelled out, "You're gushing gas!" I've had people behind me that says the car smells because they don't understand the whole no catalytic converters thing, but I figured I should pull over. As I started into a parking lot, I looked in the mirror and saw a trail of gas. I pulled up and stopped. After shutting it off, I went to the back and there was a huge pile of gas. It seems to be coming out of the vent for the II MUCH fuel vent. The bronze sintered filter was no longer on the AN fitting. As I slowly opened the fuel cap, it was pressurized (or vacuum-ized) and air came rushing out. Had to call a flatbed to get it back to the house. I did just fill up the tank the day before.

Any ideas on what it could be? Or best place to start? I assume I need to check the vent hoses from the tank to the fuel vent as a start.

Can you expand on this? What did you do to fix it?

Have you called John at IIMuch to discuss? I do not have one of those vents. On my Cougar my tank is vented to atmosphere and it does stink a little. On my GTO I installed the stock vent thing that goes behind the rear seat back and I plan to run that into a charcoal canister.

Thanks Andrew - I'll call II MUCH. For some reason, I thought you were running one.
