Sorry been a little hectic lately. Skyview Racing and Fabrication makes the K member. It was $4100 for the K member. It pretty much comes with enough to put it on and together, bleed the brakes, throw wheels on, and roll. It weighs 150lbs less than stock, requires motor plates or for you to make pedestals to mount the motor mounts. Its all brand name stuff, QA1 shocks, Wilwood brakes, Flaming River rack. It may be little steep but, its got lots of advantages. It changes the bolt pattern to 5x4.75 so you have greater wheel options. Also, widens the front track for a better stance with skinnies.

No problem! Mine will also be completely street able. Just have a certain goal I want to meet weight wise with this truck. I want it to be 3500 lbs with me in it. I totally understand the price deal. That was my original turn off as well. I just decided I would need all the extra help I could get.

You just reminded me, I'm also planning on making a tubular core support as well as it's mounts and the body mounts. I'm on the fence about pulling the wheel wells completely out or possibly making my own with trailer fenders. After the holidays I will be in contact with Calvert about a split mono leaf and with Optic Armor about replacement windows. Cage won't go in until I meet my first goal, which is to get told not to come back without the proper safety equipment Until then it shall look like a completely normal 80s pickup.
!Side note! Have you cut any of the bracing on the fenders? If so may I see what you cut?

I'm also on the fence about the front bumper. I don't know if I want to get a 6lb fiberglass one and make my own light weight brackets or get a front roll pan. From what i've heard you need to trim a little of the frame horns to get a roll pan on. I want to try to get as much weight off the front and on the back as possible.
So, I was going through this thread and rereading and realized I didn't mention anything about the fact that I also picked up a 9 inch housing or that I made a box for the tank to go between the rails. Also forgot to mention that I'm building my own Caltracs.
I need to do some more research and figure out how I'm going to shorten this rear end. Also need to parts for it so I can mock it up and move the leaf springs in a little. I'm also going to be using a slider box on the back of the leaf.
Obviously, the box isn't finished in this picture but, it is done, just forgot to take a picture. I need to put a sump on the tank and then I will wrap the box up with sheetmetal.

I'm also planning on boxing the frame and tying the two sides together with a tubular crossmember/brace.
I'd love to get into some of that type of fab work on my 84 at some point.
These frames are such goo... especially in the front.
Wanna see something funny/disturbing is loosen all your bumper bolts a bit and turn the steering wheel in a C-10 and watch the frame.... yikes.
I can only imagine. That's why it's all getting tied together. I'm going to end up buying a tubing bender with some of the money I get for Christmas. First order of business is tie the rails together/make a tranny cross member. While I'm down there with the cab off I will make pedestals for the cage.
