86 Stepside C10 LQ4 build
I plan on mine being 90% street able, so porterbuilt is I think a better option for me, plus price is way out of my comfort zone lol

Darn, had me excited! I think it should be pretty easy now that I have this k member. Other plans are lightweight battery, that Mustang tank is a few less gallons, the bed floor will be aluminum, I've got bucket seats instead of the bench. I'm really shooting for as close to 3500 with me in it.
I like the idea of an aluminum bed. i'm leaning towards expanded steel for mine as it's pretty much swiss cheese anyways.

Until then it shall look like a completely normal 80s pickup.!Side note! Have you cut any of the bracing on the fenders? If so may I see what you cut?
I need to do some more research and figure out how I'm going to shorten this rear end. Also need to parts for it so I can mock it up and move the leaf springs in a little. I'm also going to be using a slider box on the back of the leaf.
Obviously, the box isn't finished in this picture but, it is done, just forgot to take a picture. I need to put a sump on the tank and then I will wrap the box up with sheetmetal.
Here's some of the tabs I drew up for the traction bars.
I fixed the radius on the bottom of this one but forgot to take a picture of it.
I'm also planning on boxing the frame and tying the two sides together with a tubular crossmember/brace.
Here's the radiator core support idea.

These frames are such goo... especially in the front.
Wanna see something funny/disturbing is loosen all your bumper bolts a bit and turn the steering wheel in a C-10 and watch the frame.... yikes.
