another 37 Ford Humpback build
Finally moving back along with my project and was asked to run a build thread by Kharp. Maybe we can help each other out during our process's.
37 humpback have had for about 10 years with a small block that was barely car guy safe to drive around. nice survivor.
Frame recently boxed in, triangulated 4 link, TCI front end all 4 coil overs.
ford 9 inch.
Engine at builder as of 3/2/15 408 stroker with ls3 heads mildly ported and small cam for lots of grunt. 4l80e. 05 GTO seats and other goodies.
Here are some pics that have been taken over the past couple months of progress. Expecting engine to be 500-540 flywheel and have great usable HP across the curve.

Motor getting delayed due to Scat boxing rods wrong. Two sets from summit both having the wrong ones inside the box. Finally got a good set and back to the machine shop they go. Once that is done and assembled I can continue with fab/welding and post some progress.

Yes VHX they happen to be the ones they show on all their advertising. Took over a month to get, but with the built in check engine light, blinkers, etc it is a clean set up and looks modern.
I like how it hooks up with a CAT type single cable on the back to a module. So much nicer than the mouse nest for individual gauges that has to be made. Simple and tidy. Will post pics of my almost one off dash I just got done too. What I mean by that it was originally a custom built metal dash that the guy had a mold made to duplicate to Fiberglass. Fits perfect

finally got my motor back a couple weeks ago. Lots of time spent to make sure things are right. Should be north of 600hp at the flywheel 11:1 and a mild cam.
will be showing progress soon
