Default volvo 960 LS swaper get in here!

Hi, just got my hand on a 960 volvo to drop my lq9/l92 mill and can't find info on transmission and intake that fits.

does a 4l60 fit without enlarging trans tunnel? what about 4l80?

anyone had succes fitting truck intake without putting a Hood scoop?

thanks!

Truck intake and 4l80 fit in a Volvo 240, so I would assume it would be no issue on the 960. Both intake and trans take a bit of BFG to fit nicely.

i'm doing a Volvo 240 swap right now and there is no way i could get the truck intake to fit without building a custom crossmember. the LS1 intake fits just fine though

wow, what oilpan are you using? i tried fitting the truck intake into my 240 and the throttle body would stick up just a tiny bit to high on the front and i'm using the low profile Holley oil pan.
Ii thought i'd gotten my engine as low as i could but you've proven me wrong haha. your solution looks alot cheaper than the Holley accessories that i'm running

Truck intake and accessories for perfect in a 240. Had to use a 1st gen Camaro swap pan, but other then that, all factory parts.

i apparently did something really wrong shoehorning my engine into my 240 haha.
I stand corrected.

Dr Tran, what are you using to hold your radiator in place?
is that a custom made piece? I like the looks of it.

Looks like it. He also shortened the cowl cover to move the radiator forward.

Radiator is out of a Volvo 960, we made custom lower brackets and welded them to the frame rails up front then cut the cowl cover and made the upper support (part of a procharger kit for Fbody lol) and bolted it to the cowl.
