Chevy Sonic Cluster with LS1

Chevy Sonic Cluster with LS1 Wondering if anyone has any experience or knowledge with these clusters and if they would work with the LS engine and T-56? I think it would be a sweet setup on my car and they are super cheap on ebay. Might even be worth just purchasing one to try it out and mess with.
That dash probably requires a CAN ECM.
I recently tried connecting the serial data wire in my 2005 Silverado to the serial data wire in a friends 2005 Monte Carlo SS (we removed his PCM), and his dash read all the same data as mine (except his boost gauge didn't work since my truck couldn't output that data.
So...there is some ability to swap clusters between vehicles with similar a similar data bus...but again, you might need a CAN ecu to work with a cluster as new as the one in the Sonic...so you might need a 58x LS engine. Even then, I have no way to actually know if it'd work or not without patching it into a functioning CAN car.

I actually have tried the gsxr 1000 cluster when I first did my swap. I'm pretty sure I still have it laying around but it didnt work. Never really looked into what it would take to make it work but thats kind of the idea here. something just like that.
