I used the 302-2 pan (modified for stroker crank), one inch forward mounts, and blackheart headers (1 7/8 to 3 inch collectors). Everything worked as advertised. No tunnel mods necessary for 4l80e. The fit on the headers, in particular, is outstanding and hassle free. Kudos to Todd.

I'm glad everything worked out for you and am interested to see what you end up putting down on the dyno. The car looks great.

Any word on the when the headers will be shipping out? I ordered them just after Thanksgiving and originally it was looking like 2 December but now they are saying 22 December.

The models I'm looking either have
ls1 & 4l60e or l98 & 6l80e both are with in budget obviously the ls1 is cheaper so i will have more money for unforeseen expenses this car is a daily driver.

Hey Todd can you let us know when the updated version of the 4l80e cross member will be available? Also if it has a new part number or anything incase we order one and don't get the wrong one again. Thanks.

I placed an order on October 15, 2016 through holley's website for the headers, mounts, exhaust, oil pan, and trans crossmember. So far I am still waiting on the headers and trans crossmember. I was wondering what is going on since it seems like 2 months of waiting is getting a little excessive. I am told that they are expected to ship on the 30th. I would also recommend to anyone looking at these products to order from Jegs or Summit. I have not been impressed with the customer service from holley.

I can empathize with your frustration as I've dealt with similar instances of having to wait to receive parts myself. Sooner or later it happens to someone and it's not enjoyable when it does. Were you quoted the Dec 30th date by Holley, or a reseller?

Ordering from Summit or Jeg's won't have a bearing on when an order ships unless they have the parts on their shelf at the time of the order. If the order is being drop shipped from Holley, it gets shipped out in the order it is received, regardless of where it is ordered from.

I was told by holley, not a reseller, that it was expected to ship on the 30th. I try to call once a week and find out where we are at and it keeps getting pushed back every time I call.

As far as my comment about Jegs or Summit, that is because of my experience with some of the customer service representatives I have had to deal with when calling in. I won't go into too much detail, but let's just say I am concerned whether I will get duplicate headers and trans crossmembers. Since I have been waiting so long I had to change the shipping address and they changed the quantity to 2 of each. When I called today, after it should have been fixed last week, they told me I had 2 headers and 0 crossmembers ordered. So when I call next week I will see if I am back at 1 of each. So far I have not had these kind of issues with Jegs or Summit. Give it enough time and maybe that will change.

I understand and know Summit and Jeg's are both respected for the top-notch customer service they provide...they have both been good in my personal experience as well.

Is the convertible cross member going to be out before the 20% off is over?

Unfortunately not chuckd, I don't expect to see the convertible cross member become available until the end of January at the earliest.

Oh well. It took all of 15 minutes to make my own but it's ugly so was going to replace it when the price is right. Maybe next year.

It will get done, but it's been filler work for me in-between the development other major swap system platforms. I'm expecting pre-production parts to arrive here before the end of the month so I can perform the final validation and then the first production order will be placed following the outcome.

Default Exhaust and Dyno

Exhaust installed and car dynoed. 415 rwhp at 118. No driveline vibrations!!! . There is more power there so still working on tune. Holley components worked out great! Thanks, Todd.

Hey Todd, any word on the headers being sent out? The ship date keeps getting pushed back. I ordered some right after Thanksgiving.

I asked the Blackheart production manager if he could provide a status report on the 1-7/8" stainless headers (I assume that's what you've ordered) and he informed me that the primaries are bent and awaiting weld-up in their production cycle. He estimates that will happen sometime this week or next.

Does this by ant chance apply to the 64-67 stainless 1 7/8" LT headers and 3" exhaust?
