Just got my new stands in. They are either (2)passenger sides or mix matched (1) position a and (1) position b, in other words both mounts are exactly the same.

You have two driver side brackets...call Holley tech service tomorrow and they should be able to swap one out for a passenger side bracket for you.

Those are the forward bias brackets, which is part number 71221006HKR. The rear bias brackets are part number 71221007HKR; if you ordered the later of the two then they sent you the wrong ones.

Yep they sent the wrong ones, I'm waiting for them to return my call so that I can get the right brackets.

Their customer service sucks, I've been on hold for an hour and I left my number for a call back and I'm still waiting. It sucks to wait a month for something only to get shipped the wrong product.

i just got a smoking deal from the reseller because they goofed on my order multiple times over multiple days... while they were in giving/fixing mood for discounts for the new stands, i asked about and got the same discount deal on the new LS headers and an engine hoist.

Good for you Cypher, unfortunately I don't have that kind of luck or negotiation skills, but my replacement stock location mounts did arrive today and appear to be correct. So now back to the path forward.

quick question for those that got their stands or todd. I just got my second set of engine stands, drivers and passengers this time, one has two silver flat rectangle plates and 1 black rectangle plate, the other set has just 1 black rectangle plate and no silver rectangle plates. Are these Shims for crossmember?
black bolts and silver nuts for frame stands; are the silver bolts for motor mounts to block?

Hey Cypher, can you post a photo
of the package contents, other than the engine brackets, so I can see exactly what you received?

the black spacers are for the trans mount, yes black bolts and washer head nuts are for the Mounts to Frame. The silver bolts and silver spacers I did not use, I believe you are correct for the bolts, and think the longer silver spacers are for the stock cross member. I thought it was in the instructions but the only thing I retained from reading them is they were well written. I used a flexible magnet on the passenger side to get the nuts started and taped up the u-joint adapter on my ratchet because it was to sloppy.
