I don't see it hitting the shelf within the next couple of weeks Chuckd, so I would go with the G-force unit if you need something within that time frame.
That sucks as the Holley crossmember looks badass !!

It'll get there; there hasn't been an LS swap product I've previewed on a thread here not come to be an actual product. I finished up the physical development work of the coming Hooker Fox body Mustang LS and Coyote swap systems this past week, which will allow me to spend the next few weeks at my desk pushing forward on the release of this crossmember and a few other components that got shoved aside.
When using the Holley exhaust system with the forthcoming crossmember, will it be possible to remove crossmember without dropping the exhaust?
Hello Chuckd71. I would say in some instances yes and others no, depending on the transmission being used. There are features designed into the Hooker headers, exhaust systems and crossmember for the A-body application that improve the servicability of the vehicle after they are installed.
For example, the headers are connected to the exhaust system will double-ended coupler clamps that allow the exhaust to drop straight down from the header collectors without having to back everything off towards the rear of the car first.
The transmission crossmember incorporates the use of a removeable foot bracket on its right side also, which greatly lessens the amount of maneuvering required to remove/install it from the car.
Yes, as Andrew stated above, the design is basically a tweaking of the 302-2 pan to provide some additional benefits to the user. The new features are stroker crank capability (up to 4.00"), chamfered front corners of the sump for more clearance and the inclusion of turbo drain-back bungs in either side of the pan. I posted this image in another thread last week and am attaching here to support the description I've given of the pan.
That pan looks awesome!
Do you have an estimated release date on the 302-3 pan?
I am guessing those are -10 returns?
Will that come with everything?
Same oil capacity?

Thanks. I have a T56. Whenever the new crossmember comes out I was going to get it and some new headers to replace the old first gen holley ls headers I have. Was considering the whole exhaust system as well but was curious if it fits well with lowered cars; mine is about as low as is feasible for a cruiser to be.

I think you'll be happy making the switch as the new Hooker headers are miles better than the old design. The combined use of the Hooker headers, exhaust system and crossmember does provide for quite good ground clearance on an A-body. I dug up this image for you as a point of reference...it's the 3" system.

What old design? Has the ones I bought already been updated?

No, the old design were released about 8-10 years ago at the time when everyone was using typical, flat engine swap plates, including Hooker. It was before my time here (I started in Dec. 2010).
Will the headers, crossmember and exhaust kits all work with both the forward and rear biased mounts? I want my motor as far back as possible
Yes, all the components were designed with geometry that makes that possible. Keep in mind that there are constraints/limitations that come with using the rear-biased brackets, the two primary ones being more firewall/tunnel cutting required to install any late-model transmission (such as your T56) and tighter accessory drive clearances.
One advantage to using the rear biased brackets is it allows the use of the 4th-gen F-body accessory drive system that lots of guys like to use.
