Not really it all depends on your budget and what your gonna use your car for. I plan on driving it 99% on the street. If I was on a collage budget I would do stock manifolds, Borg s475 1.10 a/r, 80lb injectors, megasquirt/hptuners. In tank pumps if possible.(quieter/cooler). Buy a good clutch or converter which ever route u go. I also running a griffen rad and a Taurus fan.

Read around on a couple of threads and decided to go ahead and buy the Holley 302-1 oil pan.. excited to get rolling with my build!
