Old thread I know but has anyone used the long tube headers Hooker BlackHeart 70101335-RHKR LS Swap Long Tube with a TKO600 on this swap? Holley has these things on sale at a helluva price and I want to get a set for my 65 LS3/TKO but not if they are not going to fit. I am using a bellhousing similar to the 621 BBC housing with the cast iron Holley manifolds. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks Andrew, I'm running a stock LS3. At some point I may do a cam but it's pretty strong as it is. Besides I'm not a responsible adult and I don't know if I could handle any more power.
I think I'm going to pull the trigger on it, especially at that price. I was just worried it wouldn't clear the BBC housing. Thanks.

All convertibles are different as they have boxed frames rather than a C-channel style frame. G-Force makes a convertible specific cross member, or you can redrill the mounting points on the frame and use the stock cross member with an offset trans mount.
