And yes, you need to cut everything

Wow that 59 looks solid. I think that would be an awesome swap. A couple years ago, I almost bought a 61 to do a swap with and decided to stay focused on the current build.

There was a build somewhere I remember reading and I recall there was a lot of fab work on the front crossmember.

Please keep us posted on which way you decide to go with the build.

Cool, another caddy getting done!
Not an LS but I have an LT1 in my 47 cadillac and am doing the same with my 41 cadillac now.
Should be plenty of room in there for it!
I am using plastic 1994-1995 LT1 caprice gas tanks, wagon tanks for the side fill but the sedan tank has a rear fill.

That is a great looking Caddy. I love the patina. This should be good. Maybe make it a hot-tub Caddy.

The Roadster Shop 59 - 64 chassis would really help with a swap. Pretty spendy...

Hey guys and gals, Just found this site by a google search while looking for options to repower my wifes 59 cad 4 door. It was her parents car that has sat in a garage since 1968 (thats the last registration)
By the looks of it swapping in a LS motor involves some crossmember work ?
Didnt really want to go the crown vic suspension route but the one i put in my sons truck worked out good.
Would welcome any pointers or helpful links, thanks larry
