Fuel venting hose fumes

For all of us with cars from the 60's, When you convert to EFI and you use a fuel return it seems like there are a lot more fumes coming from the tank vent hose. Obviously from the returning fuel pouring into the tank repeatedly?
Has anyone found a solution that works well? Other than adding a full blown Charcoal canister system?

twist loc fuel hose but its starting to crack... leeching through the hose? I guess I should try changing the hoses...maybe the new earls hose...
I'm getting some from the tank vent for sure especially when the sun shines through the windows onto the back of the car in the garage

I had fuel odor with my old braided stainless lines. I used to leave my garage door open for 30 min after I pulled in. I tried a charcoal gas filter with no luck. I read up online and found many people with issues with the non Teflon lined braided lines. I switched over to copper nickel...since then, NO odor. I can drive in, shut door and there is no smell at all. Before you spend big money on filters, fix/upgrade your lines. You could go OEM hard steel , copper/ nickel (easy to flare nd bend) or a premium Teflon lined braided line.
So a Google search on fuel vapor/braided line.... Lots of info out there. Common problem.

You need to run PTFE lined hose. Modern street gas will eat most rubber hose eventually. There is a good solution for a vent that works well...
