1959 Biscayne 2 door wagon
Love the wiring work. You mentioned wiring "kit" in that last post. What kit are/were you using? I'm about to start marking my harness connectors.
) decided to hop in the old trusty Rusty and make a 225 mile one way trek to Iowa on the worst possible day! It was cold and snowy but I got the seat and some trim parts off of this cream puff.
My buddy with the red wagon is using a hammer and chisel to remove the few remaining pieces of solid metal holding the seat in. Luckily the car was so rusty it didn't take long.

We made a pit stop in Bethany on the way back. The truck was covered in ice, but look at that right rear hubcap.......

I had never seen anything like this before! Crazy ice formations!

Not sure what part you're in but we stayed a couple of nights in Boston and one night in Fall River at the Lizzie Borden house, it was supposed to be haunted, but I didn't see any ghosts.

The loom I'm using is mostly the split kind. It's not as nice as the non split, but it's way easier to work with. For smaller wires such as the injector wires, I'll be using the non split type.

The wiring kit I'm using is an E-Z Wiring kit. I've used them a couple times before, and they are not too bad for the price, but they're not the most complete kit available. I knew I was going to be changing a bunch of stuff on it so it didn't really matter too much to me.Last edited by socal57chevy; Mar 6, 2017 at 10:25 AM.

Side note; when my father was a kid he and his friends used to go by her house and see her sitting on her porch with her sister Emma. They died within 9 days of each other in June 1927.

It's never too early to start on the harness, especially if you're waiting on parts to come back from the machine shop, it'd give you something to do, and you'd be that much further ahead when it comes time to start wiring it.

The '33 and the Family Truckster are two different cars. No build thread on the '33, but there is a not so good one on the Truckster that I made when I was building it. http://www.stationwagonforums.com/fo...-replica.1951/

I'm sure I came a lot closer to your house, because I totally missed it and drove right by, had to turn around a few blocks past it.... Last edited by ls1nova71; Mar 4, 2017 at 11:59 PM.
It's hard to take pics of wiring, so these are just some random shots. This was more towards the start.
Neutral safety switch plug.

Wiring the coils was more of a pain than I had expected.....

It gets tight back there with all the wires in place, but still workable.

In this shot you can see the MAP sensor mounted to the TB. Still need to make a hold down for it, but kind of screwed the pooch on its placement, so I can't make that the way I had planned.....
I'll make a bracket and drill and tap the adapter to bolt it down to.
This bundle of wires keeps steadily growing.

Had to throw on a manifold and the air cleaner to get some inspiration back. Can't wait until this part is done for good!
Hopefully it wasn't this guy...

I like the way the top outlet comes out of the pump. It maybe the solution I need on mine. I am not happy about the way my top hose routing came out.
