No, bolted right in. Its a LS1 so it had a low mount alternator before anyway.

No big changes yet. I installed my AC stuff. I bought a GM Performance add-on AC kit that matches up with the CTS-V accessories

I was able to use the bracket, tensioner, etc, but ended up not being able to use that compressor because the fittings for the hoses would point straight at my sway bar mount, because they come out of the side of the compressor.
So I picked up a C5 compressor. Its set up just like my F-body compressor was so I was able to use my same adapter.

Due to the fact that it sits a little further back than the F-body compressor did, I had to redo the lines going to the compressor. So I ordered a few fittings

Made up the lines, crimped the ends, and wrapped the fittings on the compressor end with heat tape since they are close to the header.

Need to pull a vacuum on it and charge it up when I get a chance. No big hurry now with it getting cold outside lol.

I love how detailed your build is. I am very excited to see how you go about your LSA blower swap. Eventually I plan on doing some form of forced induction and am on the fence about the LSA or a DIY Turbo swap. I will be tuning in to see your progress.

Yes I am running it through my Holley.
- Power comes out of the dash controls
- Runs to one side of pressure switch
- Comes out of the pressure switch to input on Holley
- Then from a Holley output to a relay
- From relay to one side of AC clutch
- Other side of AC clutch to ground
With it set up that way when I turn the AC on it sends power to the pressure switch. If it has sufficient pressure, it then sends signal to the Holley input. Once it's in the Holley I can use what ever I want to allow it to continue to the relay that goes to the clutch. It will only allow it to energize the clutch if it fits the following parameters:
AC must be on of course lol
Below the set temperature
Below a set TPS %
Etc
That way the AC will not engage if:
AC is off
If the temperature is too hot
If the Throttle is more than 75% open
And whatever other conditions you want it to meet
It's also tied into my PWM controlled fan in the settings. So if the AC is on my fan is automatically running at a minimum of 50% and goes up from there based on the table for the fan.

Couple of updates on the car.
I have a Hurst Line Lock I have had for a while, just haven't gotten around to installing it. So I finally got that put on. Tucked it in behind the driver's side strut tower. I'm happy with how it turned out. Its kind of out of sight, but still accessible. I need to wire it up, but its all plumbed up.

I also have been looking at upgrading my Holley HP ECU to a Dominator and finally did. The Dominator has a lot more features, the biggest being LOTS more inputs/outputs. The HP had 4 inputs and 4 outputs, the Dominator has like 40 of each. The possibilities are endless as far as what you can do with it.

I made a plate to mount it under the passenger's side seat where I had my HP mounted

I decided to redo my relay board for my fuel pumps. This is what I had.

I was wanting something more enclosed and protected. I went for a walk through the junkyard to see what I could find lol. Ended up finding a relay/fusebox out of a Nissan Maxima. Looked like this:

I pulled it all apart and modified it to hold the fuse block from my old panel. Also took out all of the mismatched relay sockets and put 6 of the same 4-prong relay sockets. Four of them will be used for my fuel pumps, like before, and the other two will be available for future needs. Underneath I added a terminal block for attaching the inputs/outputs of each relay. The large blue wire coming into the box is the positive feed coming from the switched side of my battery disconnect switch and it feeds the fuse block. There's also a ground stud on the outside to run ground to the relays. The plug on the opposite end has four wires. Two are fuel pump signal wires coming from the Holley ECU. One for the primary fuel pump and one for the secondary fuel pump. The other two wires are positive out of the relays, going to the fuel pumps. Slapped some plastic paint on it and it's good to go! I installed it in the car but forgot to take pictures. Works great and looks a lot better than before!

Made another smaller relay box. This one has two relays in it.
One is for the starter solenoid which sends power to the small wire down on the starter.
The other is a relay that interrupts the horn signal. When I turn the line lock activation switch on (I'll add a virtual switch on my digital dash) it opens the relay and takes the horn signal to the line lock instead of the horn when the horn button is pushed. This way the horn functions normally with the line lock turned off (relay closed), but with the line lock turned on(relay open) I can activate it using my horn button on the steering wheel. I was originally going to use the cruise control "off" button, but its too low and I didnt care for it there.
Here is how the relay box looks mounted over by the brake booster:
