Corvette Alternators

Anyone know what alternators will work on a factory Corvette mount besides the vette....f-body, truck etc...?

Not having much luck in searching for a definitive answer...

It's a valeo alt. It's a different bolt pattern than most ls alternators. I went thru this myself. You can use the Holley bracket. It's the same bracket but uses a very common alt .(gm truck)

I think the only one that works with the vette mount is the vette alternator. That's one advantage to the holley setup is that it works with the f-body and truck alternators.

I already have the vette accessory bracket. Looks like I'll have to buy an alternator.....thanks guys..

Check the C6 "for sale" section on the corvetteforum. Occasionally members upgrade to high output alternators and sell their stock ones.

Yeah, I also have the corvette setup on mine. I thought I was having alternator problems earlier this year and looked at replacement ones. With the cost of them I almost considered switching to the holley bracket with the truck alternator if I had to replace the alternator........
