Default 5.3 LM7 in a 1967 Chevelle, PS hoses?

Helping a buddy swap a 5.3 in his 67 Chevelle, engine was from an 04 Tahoe. Do I need to do anything to the PS pump in order to work with the 67's steering box?

Does anyone know of a good source for a high pressure hose?

The pump output is metric and the steering box is standard. You can get an adapter or have a hose made to fit each end. Personally the very best fix is to swap out that Chevelle box for a Jeep grand Cherokee box. Look up jeep steering box swap for Chevelle. It is one of the cheapest and best mods you can do to the old a body cars. Quick ratio steering with a new car feel and metric so you can get replacement hoses at any auto store.

All of the above, and I'll add:
Cut the PS end off 04 tahoe hose, put the inverted flair from the chevelle hose on it, double flair it.
Did that before the jeep box swap. Best improvement I made on my 72.

If the Tahoe PS pump gives to much assistance, one of these can solve the flow:

The Corvette PS pump has the least amount of assistance, that was a perfect match with the JGC box on my car (1969 A-body). I just cut and bent the Vette PS line and transferred my old inverted flare connector. Works like a charm.

I know there have been a few threads about matching modern type II pumps with old steering boxes.

So I found a pressure hose, I'll post the part number later. Do I need to reduce the pressure this pump puts out? I just dont want to blow the box up haha...
