Throttle response issue

Throttle response issue In the LS powered 66 Impala that has run perfectly for the last 5 years..........I suddenly have an issue.......Intermittently I have a throttle stumble off Idle.....I can hear the Vacuum from the throttle plate opening and a second later the engine responds..........Doesn't happen all the time........when it does happen, it seems if I shut the car off and restart it......it is fine...........I haven't driven the car enough this year to see a pattern.........This is just from moving the cars around in the garage..........any suggestions as to where to look ???

Just a thought Ken. The throttle body may have the same issue as your Chevelle. You could pull the side off and see what it looks like in there (assuming DBW, can't remember).....Just a thought.....otherwise, no clue..

I think I found the issue.......A little background info........I had a local shop install the new crossflow radiator and install new trans cooler lines and steam port line(hard lines).......I went out to look at the throttle body as suggested and noticed that the harness to the throttle body was zip tied to the steam port hard line.......the harness was pulled tight at 90 degrees to the plug where it was plugged into the TB........I cut the zip tie and unplugged it......checked everything out and plugged it back in.......at least now the harness has some wiggle room and the wires and pins aren't being pulled...........No more issues...........This car stuff is Hard.......LOL.....

I too sometimes get either lazy or get in a time crunch and farm out jobs, only to get it back and end up unsatisfied with the quality of workmanship, am out my money and end up re-doing the job to my standards and satisfaction.
