Default LS Ford Focus

I have a small block chevy ford focus I built a year ago. Instead of building the small block I decided to go ls.

I am using a 5.3 trailblazer aluminum motor

Holley intake

Painless wiring harness

Lingenfelter gt1-1 cam

Garrett GTX42 turbo

hopefully I will lose a little weight in the swap. There are still some thinks that need to be cut out of the car.

Seems something's a miss with those scale readings -- Seems like the 7xx-8xx readings should be the front and the 5xx readings the rear -- but that doesn't match up with the markings on the readout face. Perhaps the scales were plugged into the wrong connectors? Getting rid of some weight up front would be nice. If the current lump has cast iron heads - you could be looking at dropping at least 125 lbs. off the front -- good stuff!

Not as much as you might think -- they made kits to convert them to rear wheel drive and drop SBF's in them -- suspect this might have started with one of those kits. Just swap out the Ford lump for GM lump for GM aluminum 'winner'....
