Several years ago I couldn't find a shop to make up hoses (small town) so I purchased a kit to do my own. The kit has paid for itself doing several of my cars and other street rodders cars. Most aftermarket systems use O ring style fittings but a few older systems still use flare fittings. Your factory compressor will have to use the bolt on factory fittings but everything else is available aftermarket (hoses, dryer, O ring fittings, O rings etc.). Your choice DIY or farm out.

Search Denso 10S20F fitting on Ebay and you will find the adapter fittings to be able to use standard ac hoses.

There used to be a guy from a different forum who sold them on ebay, but I think he quit since he wasn't selling many. I would do like Jimmy said or just make your own. Depending on where you live, you can find a hydraulic store that can make hoses for you.

Be sure to let him know what compressor you have, Silverado or Tahoe. They are different. Guess how I know this

Go buy a hose that the compressor came off of and cut off the fittings on the end and put the fittings you need on. This will work a lot better and look way more professional than just building them from scratch.

I have no tech to add to this thread, except that if you want a really clean look, use some quality heat shrink tubing (like Raychem) over the metal part of the crimp on the hose end. This will give a really nice finished look to the hose assembly.

Yeah I don't know how or why you were told they are different, but they are not from the factory. They both use the same part #. I even verified it online before posting up what I thought was the truth. Now, that is comparing year to year.

I believe the 99 and 00's use a different compressor than the newer ones. I know the size "shrunk" a little I think in 04 or 05? But I still thought the take off lines were/are the same.

Google "LS A/C Brackets" or "LS Accessory Mounts"
Something should show.

Go to the junk yard and pick up a bracket of your choice for super cheap.
