I’ve already got a 4gauge going from my alt to my battery.

I was asked not to share specs but it’s middle of the road. Nothing too wild imo. Great manners on the street at 1600rpm no bucking or surging and pulls to 6800.

Little update so far. Had original control arms up front and they were SHOT. Got a great deal on trz arms so here they are. Also upgraded to global west steering arms. I was sold when I saw the vid on their site on how they correct some of this 60’s geometry. Also went with a lighter spring up front and new tie rods with solid aluminum sleeve.

I did do new tie rods with a solid aluminum sleeve just no pic of it.

Ok, so a little update. My newly restalled, more n/a friendly converter will be here tomorrow. I went with a yank SS4000. Should leave the hole like a beast so I ordered a HR parts bolt in anti roll bar. It’s supposed to be really street friendly and work great at the track. I would’ve gone trz but I think a more race oriented bar would’ve gotten beat up on the street.

Here’s the bar installed on a car like mine.

ALSO NEED OPINIONS
I’m taking out the 2 inner bright headlights and replacing it with a screen/aluminum air funnel and will be routing tubing like a ram air to the air filter. Is it cheesy? Closest example I could find to my car using the same parts. I only need one side but idk how I’d like only one. Thoughts on this?

I think the air intake will work great. Anytime you can get cooler air to the engine, that is better.

I think your car looks to nice to put the screens in. I would leave it or try and pick up some fresh air by the bumper for at the track.

Anytime you can get cooler air into the engine, that is worth power. Why do you think I have a functional shaker on my 70 GTO and a bug catcher on the Cougar?

Moved the battery to the trunk and ordered a Moroso 4 post switch. Any tips on how to wire this thing?
