Hey, this thing looks awesome. I have a second gen firebird I'm swapping in an 6.0 with a 4l80e. I have the hooker trans cross member. Did you reuse the stock trans cross member?

Neat build man, & the fact that your family's enjoying it just adds to the awesomeness. If I can ever get my build together & running, you're not that far from the Denver area, maybe I'll figure out a way to see it in person...

Got a little work done, been having trouble with the shifter since I got it going, (used stock th350 shifter with my 80e) and turns out “someone” forgot to tighten the nut for the linkage on the trans! So I got that squared away, but obviously still couldn’t manual downshift to 1st. So I got creative and did a little modding to my stock shifter and now I have a 4 speed stock shifter! So that makes me happy. Put the car on the lift to get started on the rear. Changed oil and filter.

Having done much on this thing until today, built a new trans for it since I stole this one for my twin turbo car, and built my 8.8. Going to the track Saturday!

I dig this car. Kudos to you for doing this for your wife. I loved reading what you posted about the 307. Never understood putting money into a 267, 307, or 305.

Knocked out another inline pump, pissed me off for the last time. Ripped out all that crap, and made my tank an I tank setup. Pump is now sitting down inside the sump in one of the holes I cut out previously. Working awesome so far

It will probably be a little quieter too. Are the Borla's loud ? It's tough to tell with the video. Which model are they? I have 3" Magnaflows I'm worried about them being too raspy.
