Ls 6.0 and 8.1 big block

Ls 6.0 and 8.1 big block Hey there Guys this might be a Noob question but I was offered a G body Elcamino with a 2001 8.1 Motor swap in it complete running. And I was wondering if I get it and Motor goes bad. Will it be easy to swap an Ls motor in it 5.3/6.0 etc, or do I still have a lot of work ahead of me. Just wondering if they use the same wiring same same Accessories Etc for an easy swap From the 8.1 to a Ls1 or 6.0 or will I need different parts? If you can please help or if you have any advise I’ll apreciate it thanks.

I would disagree that it is pretty easy and straight forward as there are way more differences than similarities between the 8.1 and the LS motors. Mounts, exhaust, oil pan, and etc. Yes the computers are similar, but you would need to have someone do a segment swap for it to function correctly. Just search on the site and like what was said before, it would be very similar to swapping from a traditional BBC.
