O2 sensor interchangeable

O2 sensor interchangeable Long story short, have oxygen sensors that have a different plug than my harness. Can I cut and splice an older LS (2000) into a 2005 harness? Any difference for 5.3 to 6.0 sensors? Are all OEM sensor created equal?

Let me restate my question. Will the O2 signal from a 2000 Silverado 6.0 be the same as from a 2005 Trailblazer 5.3 O2 sensor? Both have 4 wires, same colors but plugs and UPC are different.

My thoughts exactly but the guy I'm doing this for is hell bent on using the ones he got with the engine. I guess all the OEM O2 sensor output are the same. Nobody seems to know for sure.

No good deed goes unpunished. Here is what I found on the underdash part of the harness. All pink power wires were gobbed together, injectors, MAF, trans...etc.
