Waterpump pressed in neck Hi guys,
not sure where to post this.. I put a 5.3 in my old truck. I put a camaro water pump on it and I need to put an elbow on the pumps pressed in neck. It points right into the fan. If it was pointed up it would be perfect. I looked all over but I probably am calling the pipe the wrong name. Is there a source for different pressed in hose connectors? Thanks. Jim

If you can fit your hand and that in...there was easily room for silicone.
Although you clearly have a lot of room there, you could have cut the tower off altogether and welded an alloy pipe to the pump and come off vertically.

It's nowhere near the fan motor, and your fingers clearly have room to be there...even a skinny finger is going to be 3/4" ? And it's just a plastic shroud...no big deal.
Plenty of options there, no moving parts.

Other than the thickness of the material, a silicone 90 is about as short as you'll find for that sort of thing
but if you've already cut the pump, may as well just weld an alloy pipe onto it.
