Default LQ4 Swap/Rebuild Ford Ranger

Whats up guys, I'm creating this thread to document my LQ4 swap in my desert truck. This is my first engine swap/build that I'll be doing so theres a lot to learn. So far I was able to obtain a 2006 Chevy Silverado 6.0 LQ4 and a 4l80e Transmission with 150k miles. So far I've torn down the engine to the bottom end and removed the heads. I inspected the cylinder walls, and it seems like it's in healthy condition. So far my plan is to replace the timing chain, considering a cam, and replacing any gaskets I have access to with fel pro brand. Is there anything else I should look at or consider to replace since I'm down there? Thanks

I would put a new oil pump in it. Obviously new plugs, wires, maybe a new oil galley "barbell." New water pump...front and rear seals...Probably missing a few other things.

Thanks! Yeah I was looking at the melling oil pump, so I'll probably go with one of those.

On the Melling pump, high PRESSURE, not high volume.

We have a complete gasket kit with the billet barbell for $320. Comes with every bolt, gasket, and seal you need.
Our melling 10295 is $125.
And we have rings for a great price also and bearings too if needed. A fresh hone and rering is a very good idea even on used pistons.

Let me know if you need a full quote!
Thanks

Here she is before we tore into her.

Pretty impressed, No crazy oil sludge.

Cleaned the carbon deposits.

After I finished each cylinder.
