Default Clutch issues

I’m looking for ideas? I am swapping a ls1 into my 67 gto, I plan on using a tko600 for the transmission. I purchased Luk 04-905 clutch/flywheel serup. I also have a ram 78125hd hydraulic throw out bearing and a McLeod direct fit master cyl. The ram throw out bearing lines touch the pressure plate when I push the clutch in. Ram says it won’t work with that clutch/flywheel combo they gave me part# 25-831 said it will work but at $585 I’d like to hear what others are using with clutch/flywheel combo or throw out bearings. Silver sport trans. Says they don’t see why their throw out bearing won’t work but to me that’s different than it will work.
Thanks john

With a project like this, it's good to find out what works together from the pros, plus getting all the stuff from the same source AFTER consulting with them usually assures that everything will work together. Call American Powertrain for info on what works together.

I did that with the Holley swap system but I got ahead of myself and jumped the gun on the clutch system so now I’m trying to fix my mistakes without breaking the bank

I used a Tilton 6000 series TOB, the lines come out a little further back and are smaller than the Ram setup.

Look at my GTO build thread. There are pictures of what I did with my 70 GTO using a Richmond trans with the LS7 clutch. I had the same issue, but what I did was pulled the actual bearing from the TOB assembly and stacked a few large washers behind it to space it out farther. This gave enough clearance so that the lines no longer contacted the pressure plate when the clutch was being released. YMMV.

Looking at your mods andrew I’m not sure I’d be able to do the same on the ram throw out bearing
