Twin Turbo S300s, LS1, 74 Laguna S3
Hello!
Just finished up my twin turbo build. All aluminum LS1 fully blue printed, twin Borgwarner S300s, Th350 reverse manual valve body. Going back to the dyno July 8th. Ive been running a single turbo set up working on the tune last summer, but wanted to go twin turbo for a while, so I had the opportunity and I jumped on it. If anyone had any questions feel free to ask, I did most of the work myself aside from the internals and machine work for the engine.

DO NOT use a spool on the street. A locked rear will break with repeated turns, plus it is unsafe to drive

LOL hilarious! Nothing about a spool on the street will break, I ran a strange spool on the street for years, as do some friends and nobody has had any broken parts. If you have any common sense then its not unsafe either. At most you get a little tire chirp on a sharp low speed turn but nothing breaks and it makes the car very predictable.

Spool on the street rules, Ive run 275 Pros and regular MT DR for years and 1000's of miles with a spool, strange axles and decent wheel studs. A tiny rear with stock axles might have a problem on sticky tires but just run c-clip eliminators or disc brakes if you don't have a rear with captured bearings. Turns aren't the danger of breaking stuff as much as any wheel hop needs to be watched for, there is no give so a spool is a little rougher on everything with wheel hop.
Awesome setup btw

Nice work! I've always had a soft spot for these cars. I see those pics are from Adirondack Nationals, are you heading up again this year? Also, who do you go to for tuning?

im aware of the suspension being the same, but i have never seen definitive info on the frames being the same as far as width, rails fitting long tubes, etc.
I'll be doing a twin turbo 5.3 in one of my 73 wagons soon, but im planning to chop the frame off at the firewall for this one, so i guess its mostly out of curiosity this time around. Im stupid for 73 chevelles though so im sure ill own plenty more over the coming years.

I used dirtydingo motor mount plates and factory 74 mounts, it bolted right in. The transmission also bolted right in, I just needed to move the crossmember back to the automatic hole location in the frame rails.
