It doesn't hook with around 580whp but it's plenty fast if control the throttle, I know there are quite a few in town that are faster but I don't come across them often.

Not sure what exactly you are referring to, but the last 700r4 I put behind a LS1 I elongated the converter holes in the LS1 flex plate so the 700 converter would bolt up, used the crank adapter, no problems at all, no vibrations, nothing. Im sure if there has been a problem I would have heard about it by now. 2 1/2 years now.
5.3 bored to 3.903 forged wiseco pistons eagle rods stock crank. S475 turbo 16psi. Home made ford 8.8 and home made caltrac bars. 98 front end 94 cab. Th400 no name converter all built in my garage from left over parts from friends other than the actual engine. Ls6 intake 96lb injectors methanol injection shitty intercooler. Fun to play around in
Made it to FL2K. Got a few passes in, the best pass was 11.9 @118 . I need to find a way to get my 60ft down. I’m consistent around 1.8-1.9 ... I have a 370 gear, Caltracs, da Vikings rear, 90/10 up front with Moroso trick springs. I understand I am super limited since my cam and converter are made for nitrous. Pretty happy with the results, but I want to improve! Any advice?
