79 Capri/Mustang aka PsychoBilly
Started this project back in Nov of last year. I have owned around 20 Foxes through the years but took a break when my second son was born and did the Jeep thing for a while. I got the bug when we started my oldest sons build (03 Mustang) so I picked up this 79 Capri. Never had a Capri but always wanted one and this one was priced right and didn't have much rust. I have been lurking here for a while and reading and learning on the LS platform.
Plans call for a 6.0 with single 76mm Turbo backed up by a TH-400. Not looking to set the world on fire just a fun street car that I will play around with at the local tracks from time to time and even hit up the weekly cruise-ins. I will try to keep it updated as the project evolves.
Here is how it started out when I picked it up.

After months of looking for a descent Capri bumper I ran across a deal on a 82 Gt and couldn't pass it up. Got the pieces mocked up to the Capri fenders to check the fit. A little rough around the edges but I can make it work.

At this point is where I decided to swap in the LS instead of the Windsor. After looking at local prices for just a viable core to build the Windsor I decided that the LS swap was the way for me to go. More availability locally plus I get to learn a new engine platform.

Had a minor setback during the ASP install... If you are running this rod check yours. Only had surface weld, no penetration. This happened with hand cycling a dry master cylinder
