Default LS3 Into 2003 Z71 Tahoe

Need some help here fellas. I just picked up an LS3 with PRC cathedral heads. Going to transplant it into a 2003 Z71 Tahoe. Plan on using my intake. Reading many forums I'm seeing answers and links all over the spectrum. Does anyone know exactly what all is needed to perform this swap?

Is it still 58x crank reluctor? If so you need a Lingenfelter conversion box.

It is. Not sure if I'm going with the box or change the reluctor and cam gear.

You will also need extension harnesses for the cam sensor, which will then be on the timing cover and knock sensors, as they will be relocated to the sides of the block.

The lingenfelter box is for the crank sensor.
you will need to extend the cam sensor harness (and flip the outside wires) since the ls3 places the cam sensor on the front cover vs the older which has the cam sensor at the back of the block.

While you can technically run without a cam signal, it makes it better if you have it.

The Lingenfelter box handles BOTH the cam and crank sensors.

The cam sensor only tells the ECM whether it's on intake or power stroke so the spark is on the right stroke. It eventually figures this out without the cam sensor, but starts much faster with it.

By switching the ignition between the two strokes. It will fire when on the right one.

How about using a 09+ harness and PCM instead? Probably balances out cost and effort wise in comparison to the LPE box or reluctor swap.

The PCM has to connect with the BCM, which might not be possible without a lot of rewiring
