please help me bro? I want to switch gas pedals. i have the 06 gen 3 plastic curve pedal from 06 Escalade and tac module has the metal tabs on each side.. what will work? how do i wire the pedal harness to work? Do I have to retune my ecu ?
With the gen 3, you're best to use the petal harness and TAC that came with the ecu/motor. You can look on Rock Auto website for the APP sensor to see if it interchanges with another year/petal. Or you could fab your own from just the sensor.
Yeah. The pedal is to long to use or else i would. it curves too much and hits my tunnel.. I see a lot of people ising different pedals with the gen 3 vortecs. i just would like to know what i need?

I just looked at the rock auto website. Good news, for an aftermarket pedal assmbly, that APP sensor interchanges with gen 4 up to 2020. You may be able to use a generic, aftermarket gen 4 pedal/sensor. OEM GM list it only for 06, 07, but that may be pedal shape/mounting related.

With your P59 computer you are limited to the 06-07 pedal and module with the current 06 operating system.
You can re flash the PCM with an 05 operating system and use an 03-05 pedal and module. The 03-05 pedal has a metal arm and you can modify customize it for your needs.
good knowledge. i think my best bet is going with a psiconversion.com pedal and tac harness. then ill be able to send my pcm to them to reflash. i didnt know pcm has to be reflash.
