Yep, using front and rear subframes, torque tube engine and trans.
keeping it setup that way to capture 51/49 weight distribution.
Using the interface kit, able to use have Independent front suspension and rack and pinion steering and factory braking
Do you plan on making your own brackets to mount the sub-frames? If you plan to buy them, I found a place recently called Dobbertin Performance who makes really nice mounts specifically for doing a project like this.

I ordered and just received yesterday the front and rear subframe brackets and hardware.
my holley terminator x max arrived same day. Was a happy happy young man Dobbertin corvette interface adapters. Front and rear. And Holley terminator x max
Items I've gathered
-'51 chevy pickup. ($3100)
-2003 c5 corvette with 6 speed manual (t56) ($3600 with $2000.00 parts resold) so $1600
-Dobbertin corvette interface kits (F $1550, R $1350.)
-Holley Terminator X Max ($1395+tax = $1490.)
-Torque Tube extended 20.75 inches by Gamel Streeet Rods in GA, they specialize in it. ($2600 plus $1000 for custom quad wrapped carbon fiber impeller shaft)

-Fuel cell ($300-$900)
-4core radiator with fans ($300-$500)
-Factory gauges ($300-$1200)
-LMC truck body wiring harness ($280)
-wood kit for the bed ($300-$500)
-hard lines for fuel and brakes to run ($100ish)
-finish sanding frame after I pull cab and front clip
($ free, just hard labor)
-Have the whole frame boxed. ($ will update)
I know alot of people don't like the idea of using the factory TT.
I want to incorporate as much of the corvette handling and parts.
Factory prop shaft is 2inch aluminum tube w/ .090 wall
im going to use a recommended 3inch tube w/ .125 wall.
A 5.5 inch sleeve is recommend over the tube to extend it. With new materials and processes only getting better. I'll post what I end up going with.
My ultimate plan is to ship back to Hawaii and just cruise. After all on Kauai, no can drive faster than 50mph. ; )
UPDATE!
16inches was the max length I could add using aluminum. To go 20.75 inches needed. Had to have a custom quad wrapped carbon fiber shaft.
also went with new D-couplings built for boost.

As for having the frame boxed, have you considered just making your own frame? Since you are using the front and rear cradles, I wouldn't imaging that the frame would be that complicated to fabricate yourself. Might save yourself time, money and end up with a more rigid frame.

I have not considered that because the frame and cab are completely rust free and in super good shape.
however pricing a new frame vs planned route never hurts to see on paper..
I have lots of pictures "waiting to be approved" by mods. I'm patient

Here's some interior pics No metal work needed Dust help keep moisture at bay, but never held water. Might restore cab for creature comforts. AC is a must in hawaii
