Nice update! I'm eager to see how you start doing the hotside to the tuning inlet. I'm a few steps behind you.

Sucks about the oil pan. My momma always said "we're not rich enough to buy cheap stuff."

Still haven't 100% decided on hotside routing. Planning on mimicking the holley crossover, downpipe back by the log manifold and out to a full exhaust. As far as the wastegate placement, still undecided. Might be off the log and tied into the DP.

Lots of work to be done yet!

Why aren't you using the Holley cross-over?

Just choice, considering much of the exhaust needs to be fabbed, added that to the list as well.

Ordered one of these today, had one in my nova and liked it

I wanted one of these horseshoe shifters but the car has no console and I really didn't want the headache of dealing with that this year. I really like the horseshoe style though.

Looks good. I’m surprised you made the notch that big. Do it once I guess. Lol. What are the dimensions of the radiator?

It's always exciting when the engine goes in for good.

Very satisfying, feels like things are really coming together when they're in place.

Things and stuff - coming together quickly once time is actually spent on it!

PSA: Always check your parts. Bought this rad end of December but never opened the box. This isn't a dual pass rad with both inlet/outlet on pass side. So trying to deal with this a couple months down the road, fingers crossed it's painless haha.

Nice and snug! Time to get fully welded out.

The Holley crossover has a slip fit joint to account for thermal expansion.

Now they do, for a long time they did not.

The fit up on this is very good, I expect it to move but I'm not particularly worried about anything cracking. From all of my research, lots don't have issues, some do.

Time will tell.

The original design had a flex couple that blew out. I think you'll want something to let it move. Remember, that pipe can glow!

Andrew, do you have any pics showing this in detail? I have a idea how it might look but curious to see exactly how it does look.

thanks,
