Money shifted, thoughts?

Default Money shifted, thoughts?
Hey guys so wondering if you could tell me if there’s anything I should check after a money shift(yes I’m dumb) never done this before so idk what to look for but I have 2002 Ws6 and I shifted at 5500rpm in third and somehow went into second and my whole car slowed way down, Rpm’s went over 6500, and my transmission sounded like it wanted to snap off. I immediately let off the gas and pushed the clutch. Afterwards everything seemed fine..shifted fine, drove fine, no weird sounds or anything. Thoughts?

If no funny noises, low oil pressure, or smoke, run it.
What kind of "thoughts" can we have if we don't see or hear video or sound recording.
Any time Richard Holdener has someone ask "thoughts", he ignores them until they ask a specific question.

That's fair. Without any evidence that there is indeed something amiss, I would run it UNTIL you see or hear anything to indicate an issue.

Factory Rev Limiter usually catches the Engine before the real damage starts.

I blew a motor to pieces several years back doing this so the factory rev limit definitely doesnt stop anything from happening. Maybe you got lucky

Physically no it can't, but it can cut ignition
