Default Foxbody cruise control

Wondering if anyone has got cruise control working off the steering wheel with an ls swap? Would like to get the cruise control to work with the factory steering with 87-93 mustang.

Here is my build thread on my LS376/480, Tremerc T56 Magnum swapped, 1991 Fox coupe: Project Hole in the Head

James, I understand your desire to have cruise control working. I can't help you at all since mine is inoperable in my car. However, the CC components are still in the car. I just got it on the road about 10 days ago. I'm using a Holley Dominator for engine management and its a drive by wire. The Ford OEM throttle and cruise control were all cable operated. For me, I just decided to forget about cruise control. My car may hit the open road perhaps once a year to go visit "Cruisin' the Coast" on the gulf coast of Mississippi in early October. That would probably be the only time I"d miss CC.

For anyone who is familiar with Cruisin' the Coast, yes, I'm aware that my car is too new to participate. 1989 or older only!

My .02...Youll need to find out how the cruise switches worked in the Mustang wheel, i.e. N/O, resistance based triggers, ground, 12v etc.. All of the magic in a GM DBC cruise system is in the cruise control module, the pcm doesnt really do anything. The GM cruise module relies on N/O switches that feed a 12V signal for various modes. This post has some good GM cruise control info:

The Ford steering wheel buttons are resistance based switches, and the GM cruise control module needs on/off switches. I hooked mine up in my LTD, but it only does 'set/coast' and 'resume/accel', no on/off switch, I just wired it to be on any time the ignition was on. Also, the labeling on the switches isn't correct for both of them, but I'm the only one who drives it and I just know what switch does what.
