thats just a breather hose..4l60e does not require vaccum..sounds like that unit was out of a 4x4..the t usualy goes to the transfer case..get rid of the t and just use one hose to the breather hole at the top of the trans

It's just a breather hose and nothing else. I don't know why they put that little gizmo on the line, but NONE of it hooks to vacuum!

You could have eliminated the vacuum line theory; why would you hook a vacuum line to a vent line?

i didnt kno what it was, that is why i asked. it looked like a vaccum line so that is why i called it that! i am guessing that you have a six speed so you probably dont know what i am talkin about, but if you were to see it then you might understand!

I didnt mean it in a ******* way, sorry. I thought you figured the main line was a vent and thought the "t" needed a vaccum source. I was just stating that a vaccum wouldnt be attached to an open line. The t56 has a vent tube also.
